- Low-Price FBA rates to replace Small and Light on August 29
Starting August 29, 2023, all items priced below $10 on US FBA will benefit from lower FBA rates. This adjustment aims to simplify lower fees for sellers’ low-priced selection whilst maintaining quick FBA delivery speeds. Eligible items will automatically enjoy these new rates and will not incur 2023 holiday peak fulfilment fees from October 15, 2023, through January 14, 2024.
In line with this change, we will be closing the Small and Light program in the U.S. effective August 29th, when the new low cost FBA rates will go into effect. Until then, items enrolled in the Small and Light program will continue to be subject to the Small and Light rate. New product registrations for this program will end after July 17th.
The new rates for low-priced products will be approximately $0.77 less. If your items priced below $10 were enrolled in Small and Light, this transition will lead to an increased cost of approximately $0.30 per item, but they will now benefit from quicker FBA fulfilment speeds. However, those not part of Small and Light stand to save roughly $0.77 per item and continue to enjoy fast FBA fulfilment speeds. Standard FBA rates and shipping speeds will apply to items priced above $10.
